If you don’t know, we have started distributing Cramp 911 leg cramp lotion to various specialty stores and independent pharmacies in and around the Lehigh Valley. Tim Blangger, of the Morning Call, wrote an interesting article about Cramp 911, and tells a bit of history in the making and promoting of the topical cramp lotion.

Over the years, we’ve continuously work on the homeopathic compound to get it just right, testing and experimenting on customers and family members. We carefully noted the feedback and tweaked our topical cramp relief product until it was marketable. Two years later, Cramp 911 is now being sold, with slightly updated packaging, on the counters of 10 regional pharmacies, a massage therapist and a bicycle shop, and our own pharmacy in Orefield, PA.
The article also goes into detail about eventually selling it in major drug store chains, which is one of our goals. Cramp 911 cramp relief lotion already has many supporters, including Matt Bayly, head athletic trainer at Lafayette College. ”It works great. We’ve been using it for four or five years,” says Bayly. ”There is no silver bullet for cramps, but with Cramp 911 and stretching, it seems to make a difference.”

I was surprised to discover from my female patients that they have been using Cramp 911 to relieve menstrual cramps. I young woman relayed this story to me. She had recently went to pilates class and one of the women was bent over in pain. She asked her what was wrong and was told that she was having her period. She was offered Cramp 911 to try it. A few minutes she felt much better and was able to continue with her class. I have heard similar stories quite a few times.

At first I was expecting that a massage therapist would be reluctant to use Cramp 911 because I thought they would think that it would take business away from them. Because Cramp 911 is so effective, a patient may not “need” to visit for a massage…so I thought. This is what I discovered: A local Massage Therapist found out about Cramp 911 and tried it on her patients for muscle tightness, muscle spasms, and fibromyalgia. She was completely surprised when she had a patient , who had been suffering for years with fibromyalgia, that had been coming to her, had a “breakthrough”. The patient was ecstatic with the results! The massage therapist continues to use Cramp 911 in her sessions for all types of muscle spasm treatments and “loves” it. She says that Cramp 911 makes her “look good” because it is so helpful for her patients muscle spasms. Patients continue to come to her for a massage because there are other therapeutic benefits from massage not addressed by Cramp 911.

I recently heard from a woman that told me her daughter was a cross country runner and was suffering from “stomach cramps”. The daughter started using Cramp 911 at first as a treatment then as a preventative with good results.

While attending the Via Marathon on September 7, 2008, a women stopped out table. She asked if Cramp 911 might help her hip pain. She was in her mid 20’s and had see many different doctors and had all the usual tests. The doctors could find nothing and said it was something she was going to have to live with!!! When attending events we bring a pump bottle of Cramp 911 in case any athletes have tight muscles or muscle cramps. She asked if I thought Cramp 911 would help her. She applied it to her hip and her reaction was remarkable. Her face turned bright red and her eyes started blinking rapidly. She said “is this in my head or is the pain really gone?” She told us that she had given up on doctors and had resolved herself to a life filled with pain. This was a real life changing event and really neat to see. It made the whole event worth while.

This a review written in the Sept 2008 Magazine:
By Stacey Pekarsky
As athletes, we have all experienced muscle pain, tightness and cramps associated with our sport of choice. Cramp 911 offers a fast and safe homeopathic alternative to costly medications. As a life long athlete and back pain suffer, I decided to give Cramp 911 a try. Application was easy; the lotion was odorless and dried quickly. To my surprise I felt pain relief in under 30 seconds, and it lasted most of the day. Only a small amount was needed and it dries clear so it does not stain your clothes. Cramp 911 is also recommended for treatment of pulled muscles, fibromyalgia pain, back and neck tension, night leg cramps, multiple sclerosis spasms. It also prevents the onset of cramps with prior application and cramp return, which is crucial for competitive athletes. Unlike other muscle relaxants, Cramp 911 does not reduce muscle strength, and has no known side effects or drug interactions. It is endorsed by athletic coaches and trainers worldwide and is produced in an FDA approved manufacturing facility. Cramp 911 is available in two sizes, a 6ml Roll-on Bottle ($9.95) and a 30ml Roll-on Bottle ($34.95). Both sizes are compact and can easily fit into your pocket or personal items pouch for use before, during and after exercise.

We attended the 2008 SheROX triathlon in Phila. This was an excellent event to attend, run very well. There were approx 1500 women triathletes that attended.
We met a women that was and avid triathlete and had signed up for many events throughout the summer. She was suffering from a hip injury she received when she fell off he bike a few weeks earlier. She had stated that she could not run in any events since then but would swim and bike. She asked if Cramp 911 would help her muscle spasm in her hip. We had our pump bottle for her to try. She went into the ladies room and came back out, As she stood in front of us explaining her injury she suddenly stopped and told us that the muscle spasm was feeling better. She was surprised. Cramp 911 did not completely take the pain away, since there was an injury, but it relieved the muscle spasm pain. I am not sure if she was able to run the next day but I knew that she was on the road to recovery.

We attended the 2008 NATA conference in St Louis. This was a three day event with approx 10,000 attendees. There were trainers from all over the US and overseas. We met and spoke to trainers from high schools to pro football teams. At times we were overwhelmed with people. The interest level was huge! We brought samples and gave out about 1500. We met a someone that was a personal trainer for some Japanese athletes that were going to the summer Olympics and she took some samples.
One interesting story is about one of the other vendors at the event came right up to me, around our table and pulled his shirt sleeve and said” I can make myself have a muscle cramp at will”. With that he flexes his forearm and says “let’s see if this stuff really works”. Startled, I quickly grabbed a sample and rolled it on his forearm and could feel the muscle cramp relaxing under my hand. He told me that he had been a professional motorcycle rider for 20 years and had suffered greatly with muscle cramps over much of his body. He told me that he was never able to find anything that would work for his muscle cramps and was very excited. He told me he would endorse Cramp 911 or do anything. He was sold.

A mother ordered Cramp 911 last week and was very anxious about getting it for her son before a televised game on ESPN that he son was playing in. They were expecting hot and very humid weather. Her son plays for the Kansas City Rockers. They were playing a rival team, Blue Springs. We looked at ESPN’s website to find a story about the game and found that a lot of people had gotten leg cramps. We were very concerned that Cramp 911 did not relieve or prevent leg cramps. She called us first thing Monday morning and reported that here son and his two teammates did NOT have any muscle cramps throughout the game even though they are prone to cramping. Needless to say That the Kansas City Rockers won the game. Her son is being recruited and it’s important to be at “peak performance”.
We are getting more and more reports of teams depending on Cramp 911 to keep their key players in the game and operating at “peak performance”

A Florida high school water polo athlete had suffered from leg cramps while playing water polo since he entered his growth spirt. It was so severe that he no longer could play. His sister went to college with one of my sons and told me of his situation. I gave her Cramp 911 to see how it would affect someone involved in water sports. He applied Cramp 911, 20 minutes before he entered the water. Since cramp 911 is rapidly absorbed into the muscle it does not wash off after 20 minutes. After applying Cramp 911 he no longer had a problem with leg cramps and can play through the whole game.
