The pain and spasms may increase in intensity the longer the condition continues without treatment.  This pain from the muscle spasms can have an effect on a person’s quality of life.  These QOL issues are typically fatigue caused by the constant chronic muscle pain.

    Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis’ pain is caused by muscle cramps or spasms.  The pain can range from mild to severe depending on the state of the disease.  Current treatments for muscle spasms include oral muscle relaxants such as baclofen or tizanadine which can cause unpleasant side effects such as drowsiness or mental cloudiness.  Another treatment is Botox® injections and such treatment is both painful and inconvenient.  It has been reported by patients suffering with MS who have used Cramp911™ for muscle cramps or spasms, that it provided effective relief for them.  Cramp911™, an over the counter topical muscle relaxer product, may eliminate the need to visit the physician for Botox injections and the unpleasant side effects from oral medication in order to get relief from muscle cramps or spasm relief.
