Cramp911 is a roll-on muscle relaxer that rapidly alleviates muscle cramps resulting from athletic activity, nighttime leg cramping, neck and back spasms, dehydration or even cramping associated with chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis or fibromyalgia.  It relieves muscle cramps in under a minute and lasts for up to eight hours, thus avoiding the post-cramp pain so often associated with muscle spasms.  Prescription drugs such as statins, cancer drugs or medical conditions like diabetes or dialysis can bring on cramping, which is reported to affect some 26 million adults annually.

DelCorean’s CEO and founder Keith Del Prete, R.Ph, formerly a compounding pharmacist, sold Cramp911 through his Pennsylvania pharmacy for more than a decade before deciding to market his popular “leg cramp lotion” nationally.  According to Del Prete, “For customers to be able to pick up Cramp911 at the corner Rite Aid in hundreds of cities is a huge convenience for them and a major milestone for us.  We’re excited that Cramp911 will be sold through one of the largest, most respected pharmacy chains in the country.”

DelCorean plans to promote Cramp911’s introduction through a new television ad campaign that will launch mid-July in major markets.  This will coincide with promotions that include coupons, in-store displays, free standing inserts and print advertisements in individual markets. 
Some 8,000 retail outlets currently stock Cramp911, which entered the market less than a year ago.  Regional drug and grocery chains that sell Cramp911 include Duane Reade, Weis Markets, Giant Foods, BI-LO, H-E-B, Winn-Dixie, Price Chopper, Food City, CVS.com, drugstore.com and Walgreens stores in eastern Pennsylvania.
